An intranet past its prime
Fitness24Seven implemented IntraActive Intranet back in 2016. The platform has served as a communication channel for Fitness24Seven, seeing the fitness chain through expansive growth internationally. However, after 8 years the existing intranet system showed its age with limited functionality and options to share knowledge across countries. The organization needed a more modern and user-friendly platform to support the company’s business needs and to enhance collaboration.
A modern platform to ensure connectivity
To address these challenges, Fitness24Seven implemented the modern version of IntraActive Intranet, which better reflects the identity and values of Fitness24Seven.
The transition came about through a strong collaboration between Fitness24Seven and Fellowmind, the supplier of IntraActive Intranet. The update has brought significant benefits for the global fitness chain. The intranet now facilitates improved communication and knowledge sharing of solutions across different locations, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration. One of the many benefits of the modern platform is the mobile app.
“I have to say it’s amazing how well we can work with the intranet from our mobile app. It’s very useful for our many employees who work in the gyms, without regular access to a computer. It’s become much easier to find information like contact details for coworkers,” says Lotta Schön, IT Administrator, Fitness24Seven.
Ready for the future
Since rolling out the modern intranet, Lotta Schön has received a lot of positive feedback from users, who are particularly appreciative of the user-friendly update. Another feature that’s now in high use is the Phonebook.
With the modern update to the intranet Fitness24Seven has found it a lot easier to keep up a good flow in internal communications.
