Kredsløb improves internal communication with digital signage

Kredsløb, the utility company in Aarhus Municipality that handles waste and supplies district heating to Aarhus and the surrounding area, needed a communication tool that could reach all their users. Integrations were crucial for the choice of Replay. Since Kredsløb uses Microsoft Teams for collaboration and had plans to transition to a SharePoint-based intranet, it was important for them to find a tool with seamless integration to both these platforms. From smooth implementation to daily use

The implementation of Replay went smoothly. “The process was very straightforward,” says Caroline Fruergaard Laursen, internal communications consultant at Kredsløb. “We had some initial meetings with Fellowmind, and then the system was quickly set up. We got access to the platform and some training via Teams, and then we were up and running.”

Strategic placement of the Replay screens

The screens have been strategically placed at Kredsløb’s locations, with the possibility of targeting specific locations. For example, there is a screen in Lisbjerg in the foyer, which is targeted at visitors. Whereas the screen at the same address, but in the canteen, is targeted at employees.

Caroline Fruergaard Laursen, internal communications consultant at Kredsløb, explains that the screens help to strengthen employees’ feeling of being updated and well-informed: “Those who do not sit at a PC now find it easier to keep up with what is happening in the organisation.”

Reception and future ambitions

The digital signage solution has been well received among employees. Content such as news, upcoming events, and the daily canteen menu are popular.

“Employees think the screens are a great improvement,” says Caroline Fruergaard Laursen, internal communications consultant at Kredsløb. “It makes communication more accessible and creates a better connection across the organization and the many business areas.”

To expand the use of Replay, Kredsløb has ordered six new screens, which will be placed at their recycling stations in Aarhus Municipality.
