TITAN Containers unites the company with a new intranet

With the implementation of their new intranet, TITAN Containers has opened up communication and knowledge sharing across international departments
TITAN Containers A/S is the world’s largest privately-owned company in storage containers. With headquarters in Taastrup and presence in more than 90 countries, they have a great need for open communication channels across geographical borders and time zones. With IntraActive, TITAN Containers has acquired a modern intranet that has eliminated annoying emails and created new opportunities for knowledge sharing.
Why IntraActive
When TITAN Containers decided it was time to establish an intranet, Rasmus Nørgaard, Group CMO, contacted several Danish suppliers of SharePoint-based intranet solutions. Among them was Fellowmind, which develops and delivers IntraActive Intranet.
“When I had spoken to all the possible suppliers, there was no doubt. The demo of IntraActive lived up to all our requirements. Here, after the go-live of our own IntraActive Intranet, I can also confirm that our implemented intranet fully lives up to the demo I was shown at our very first meeting,” says Rasmus Nørgaard, Group CMO, TITAN Containers.
A short time span from sale to go-live
After choosing IntraActive, it took only a few weeks for the final intranet to be implemented till the official go live.
“I was impressed with the entire process from inquiry via form, to contract, to delivery. Fellowmind’s team has acted very professionally and been extremely helpful,” says Rasmus Nørgaard, Group CMO.
There were only 3 weeks from the first kick-off meeting to the launch of the intranet.
TITAN Containers’ large geographical spread means that time zones and language differences can get in the way of open communication. With IntraActive Intranet’s features, TITAN Containers has found solutions to both challenges. All news articles includes an automated translation, and the intranet shows which local holidays are celebrated across TITAN Containers’ offices.
By using the built-in notification feature for both Microsoft Teams and the mobile app, all intranet users can be notified when there is important news on the intranet.
Easy to share success stories
Employees at TITAN Containers have welcomed their new collaboration platform with open arms.
“The feedback we have received from the various countries has been very positive, and it is clear that employees feel more updated on the company’s activities. We have become better at sharing knowledge. For example, if we can have a customer in England who has a problem we have solved, now we can easily share that story on the intranet so that customers in other countries can benefit from the same solution,” explains Rasmus Nørgaard, Group CMO, TITAN Containers.
The successful implementation of the IntraActive intranet solution has not only improved the company’s internal communication but also strengthened collaboration and knowledge sharing across the company’s global departments.
